The Special Guest Invitational (SGI) is a newly established non-profit organization geared toward preparing junior high and high school student-athletes for college via showcasing their basketball skills during a summer league, community volunteerism, and educational enrichment programs. These programs include Minnesota Basic Standards Test (MBST) preparation, career exploration, and SAT exam preparation, sponsored by Sylvan Learning Center. Southwest High School alum, Teynae Tarver (1992) and other former athletes formed this exciting organization.
